Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Northfield

Breakfast was great, tons of delicious options for everyone. Well rounded offerings of hot food (spinach quiche, omelettes, scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, make your own waffles) as well as yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, all the toppings, and several pastry/bagel options. Coffee and lots of juices!

This is probably the nicest and most up to date hotel in Northfield. The rooms and bathrooms are smartly designed with charging ports, roomy bathrooms and great lighting. The underground parking was a welcome surprise, the area seems safe, but the secured underground parking provides extra peace of mind!

The room was spotless. The shampoo container in the bathroom was empty, but we brought our own so we didn’t bother mentioning it. We had one evening meal, tapas, delicious and good value for money. The breakfast was also good. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, it was a very pleasant stay.

The front desk was very friendly, and they allowed us a late checkout as well as they honored my husbands level of serviced with this hotel brand. The location was very convenient for our visit to St Olaf College. Loved the underground garage and the super wide hallways (at least on the 4th floor).

The breakfast had a variety of breakfast foods. What they offered was really good.
